Roasting coffee with a hot air popcorn popper 2


I've gotten better at roasting coffee in the hot air popper. One of the most important things is to be able to monitor the temperature as you are roasting. I like a lighter Full City roast which you get at about 444 degrees. With this thermal couple I can measure the temperature of the beans as they swirl around, the temp probe moves around with them. I'm sorry you can't hear what I'm saying in parts of the video, I didn't realize how much of the popper's noise the camcorder would pick up.
